What stared as a summer internship, turned into full time employment in the Transportation Division of Tri Transport, Inc. Not long after, Nick advanced to Operations Manager with fewer than 75 power units.

Nick was awarded the General Manager position of Tri Transport.

A partnership was formed with James & Diane Telles and Dominic “Nick” and Sally Carlucci. Telles Transport, Inc. was formed. With the support of their past customers, they continued to haul Cotton, Corrugated Paper, Tomatoes and Bulk Onions. They purchased the administrative office at 1487 13th Street, Firebaugh. They moved the 100 power units into today’s current Firebaugh Truck Terminal at 7161 Washoe Avenue, Firebaugh, CA

CarTel Transport was formed with the purchase of Hicks & Messer (H&M Trucking) in Patterson, CA. This purchase added Fresh Vegetables and Vegetable Transplants to the commodities list. The fleet continues to grow.

Nick & Sally Carlucci formed “Carlucci Transport, LLC”. Carlucci Transport engaged in the transportation of Petroleum Products and Aggregate Rock. 2001 marks Nick’s 20th year in the Industry.

Telles Transport was dissolved. The Carlucci’s purchased remaining shares of CarTel Transport. Carlucci’s were operating under Cartel Transport and Carlucci Transport. The fleet and commodity list was on the rise.

California Air Resource Board (CARB) set new regulations to be phased in over a 15 year period. Carlucci Transport immediately started to upgrade the fleet to comply with the CARB Compliancy Laws.

Was a start of a new year and new face. The company began to phase out Cartel Transport and into their sole brand “Carlucci Transport”. Another equipment purchase was made to accommodate a new tomato contract. Carlucci Transport was now operating 200 power units servicing the entire State of California.

Carlucci Transport marks 30 years in the Industry

GPS Fleet Tracking was purchased. This technology has taken our Company to the next level to improve our Driver Safety, Real Time Tracking, Fuel Efficiency and Superior Customer Service.

Carbon Footprint was reduced by standardizing a fuel efficient low profile size tire on all trucks and trailers. Carlucci Transport’s Fleet has grown to 225 power units.

Carlucci Transport marks 35 years in the Industry.

Intelligent Dash Cams were installed into the Fleet. These in real-time cameras are proven to improve driver safety and lower fleet costs.
